An SEO and Analytics Strategy will help grow organic search traffic. Below, I have written the steps I took in order to make sure my site has a good strategy that will be implemented.
1. Install Yoast SEO.
Adding Yoast SEO as a plug-in helps to analyse all the readability of each page as well as meta descriptions and and focus keyword. This helps make it easier to change the content text of each page accordingly. It is also very easy to change each of the page’s titles.

2. Make sure all pages have a good SEO score.
Once Yoast is installed, it will help give suggestions on the page, if it needs more text, more links or images and other useful tips. There will be an SEO score and a good SEO score means that the site will have a better chance to be found on Google.

3. Look up what keywords is best for the site.
Websites like wordstream.com help you find the keywords that best fit your site. Use other freelancer or artists’ websites and there will be a list of keywords that are best to use all around the site.
4. Make sure those keywords are placed all over the site.
The keywords can be written in subheadings, paragraphs or in other parts of the website. They can also be written in blogs. Better readability means a higher chance of getting organic visitor growth.
5. Adding alt text to images used in the site.
Adding just a bit extra description of the images in the alt text section can add more keywords to the site so that it could be more easily found.
6. Sign Up for Google Analytics.
Google Analytics help to look at the data of visitors. The data you get from analytics tools can tell you exactly who your audience is and what they’re searching for.

7. Link Google Analytics to website.
Linking the website to Google Analytics means adding the tracking code to every page of the website. In order to do that, it would be easiest to download a plug-in called Header and footer injection which will help inject the code to all the html files of each of the pages in the site. Once they are linked, it is easy to see the data in Google Analytics.
8. Add Google Tag Manager.
Using Google Tag Manager helps you link what data is analysed in Google Analytics. Data such as scroll depth, ads and more.
9. Add Analytify Plug-in to your WordPress Site.
Want to see all your data on your WordPress dashboard? Simply add the Analytify plug-in. It links with your Google Analytics profile easily and helps you see the information in WordPress’s dashbaord.
10. Generate and submit a sitemap.
Search engines like Google are committed to displaying the most relevant results to people for any given search query. In order do this effectively, they use site crawlers to read, organize, and index information on the Internet. The sitemap will tell search engines the location of a page on your website, when it was updated, the updating frequency, and the importance of the page as it’s related to other pages on the site. Without a proper sitemap, Google bots might think that your site has duplicate content, which will actually hurt the SEO ranking.
